How to create a quick order form
Quick Order Forms give B2B buyers a fast way to order multiple products at once. Instead of navigating to each product page individually, buyers see a catalog-style table where they can search products, set quantities, and add everything to their cart with a single click.
This guide walks through creating and configuring a new form.
Go to Smind B2B > Quick Order Form → Create New, then set up the fields below.
1. Set Title & Description
Title: Enter a clear, descriptive name for the form.
Description: Add context or instructions for the form
2. Choose Products
Choose which products appear on this ordering form.
- To start, set it to All Products (recommended).
- To exclude items — for example, to hide limited inventory, seasonal items, or full-price-only products from wholesale buyers — click Add Product to exclude and select the items you want to leave out.
3. Set Quantity defaults
This sets the quantity rules for each item, so you can force purchases into minimum volumes:
- Minimum order quantity: the least a customer is allowed to buy (at least 1).
- Maximum order quantity: the most a customer is allowed to buy (leave empty for no maximum).
- Quantity steps: restrict quantities to fixed steps. For example, set to 12 and customers can only order 12, 24, 36…
Below these settings, an information card updates dynamically to show exactly which quantity values the customer will be allowed to select.
For fast setup, Smind B2B provides ready‑made presets that fill in the values for you. For example:
| Quick presets | Customer can order |
| Single units | 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, … |
| Case pack (12) | 12, 24, 36, 48, 60, … |
| Pallet (24) | 24, 48, 72, 96, 120, … |
| Min only (50) | 50, 51, 52, 53, 54, … (no maximum) |
4. Set Cart behavior
Configure where the customer goes after filling in all the items on the form.
ℹ️ Note: This setting applies to the per‑row Add button. The Add all button always goes to the cart.
- Stay on the form: the customer stays on the ordering form (e.g. to keep adding more items).
- Go to cart page: the customer navigates to the cart page.
- Go to Checkout: the system bypasses the cart entirely and sends the customer straight to the shipping & payment gateway.
5. Attach to a customer group
A form must be assigned to a customer group to appear for those buyers. In Used by customer groups, click Attach To Group and select the group from the dropdown.
6. Set the form to Active
Finally, set the status to Active to make the form live for the targeted customer group(s).
