How To Install Template

• From our app, click Templates
• In the Templates tab, select the category of templates.
• Click Install the template you like.

Click Content Editor to start with the theme editor.

Install Homepage, Product page, Collection page, Blogs page & Blog posts page

• In the Template Name field, enter a name for your template.
• The Template Slug will be generated automatically based on the template name.
• Click Install.

Note: Please make sure both the Template Slug is unique and do not duplicate any existing templates in your store.

Install Landing page, About Us, Contact Us, FAQs, Others

• In the Template Name field, enter a name for your template. The Template Slug will be generated automatically based on the template name.
• Click Create Page to add a new page. In the Page Title field, enter a clear and descriptive title for your page. The URL and Handle will also be generated automatically from the page title, but you can edit it if needed.
• Click Install.

Note: Please make sure both the Template Slug and the URL and Handle are unique and do not duplicate any existing templates or pages in your store.

How to Assign Product and Collection Template

Assign Smind Template to Specific Product

This feature only use for template types: Product Page, Collection Page. For the products you assign, they will have the same template as the product you set.

• From our app, click My Library.
• In the Templates tab, click Product.
• From the Product tab, select the template you want to assign to product.
• Click three-dot-icon … then select Assign.

• In Apply to choose Specific products
• Click Add Product.

• Choose the product then click Select

• Click Save.

Assign Smind Template to Specific Collection

Same as assign template to specific product:

• From our app, click My Library.
• In the Templates tab, click Product.
• From the Product tab, select the template you want to assign to product.
• Click three-dot-icon … then select Assign.
• In Apply to choose Specific products
• Click Add Collection

• Select the Collection

• Click Save

Notice “Assigned template successfully!” mean you have apply this template to all product belong to this collection successfully

Frequently Asked Questions

Why can’t I find the templates in my Shopify store after installing it?

To make sure your templates appears correctly, check these two things:

• Activate SMI Theme Helper: Go to your Shopify Theme Settings → App embeds and make sure SMI Theme Helper is turned ON. This helper enables the app to work properly inside your theme.

• Add the Templates to Your Current Theme: After installing a Template from the Smind Library, you still need to add it manually to your current theme’s template. From Settings in Smind Sections app, scroll down to choose a theme to work on, you need to make sure that this theme is your current theme.

• Open Shopify → Online Store → Themes → Customize.
